WAP Server

A WAP Server is just a normal web server and a WAP Gateway device built into one. People assume that it is necessary to have a WAP server in order to serve WAP content, but this is not so. WAP content is serveable from any normal web server.
As the WAP server contains a gateway, the 3rd party gateway usually hosted by the cellular operator can be skipped, and WAP content host will have full control on all the encrypted stream.
